Ashtanga Moon Days

On the moon days we teach mindfulness, pranayama and yoga philosophy.

However, it's traditional for Ashtanga moon days to be observed. This means practitioners can leave the days of the new and full moon as practice-free and take rest.

The reasons why are explained on senior Ashtanga teacher Tim Miller’s website.
